Organisational assessment for the adaptation of the CDM
Organizational maturity assessment for the adaptation of the CDM. The depth and duration of the assessment vary. It can include training sessions for the employees to understand the CDM and the scope of each assessment, involvement of the employees in the assessment process and participation in the presentation of the assessment results. The assessment can evaluate the organizational culture, innovation culture, corporate democracy, shared knowledge practices, applied research practices, extroversion and internationalization processes, human intellectual capital utilization and other areas needed to determine organizational readiness for the adaptation of the model, the adaptation process, duration, resources, effort, preconditions and post conditions.
Organizational strategy based on the CDM
Development of a knowledge-based strategy for the organization. The CDM assessment can be part of this service but not necessary if the organization has strong self-awareness of the CDM principles. The strategy includes the planning of a staged CDM execution process within the organization in selected departments or business units, and the roll-out of the strategy to the entire organization, subsidiaries, and business ecosystem. Every stage in the strategy is supported with concrete goals and metrics that can indicate its success or distance from the expected goals. The CDM application strategy can be designed towards specific organizational goals such as the achievement of Blue, Green or Pink innovation oceans, alignment with the ESG index, the UN Sustainable Development Goals, or specific safety, financial, operational and other targets.
CDM Startup process
Actual implementation of the CDM model in the organization. This service can be delivered without an organisational maturity assessment or CDM strategy if there is one in place. The service is based however on the existing organizations strategy and supports the organization in the development of the first 3 levels of CDM. The duration of the services can be from 6 months to 2 years based on the size of the organization the number of employees involved, the maturity of the organization and the expected goals. The first three levels, and especially the first level are the most critical for the success of the CDM. This service provides the support to achieve level one first and then levels 2 and 3 after that for the number of knowledge contributions the organization can support.
